Liz graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University in 2012.
Whilst studying for her degree, Liz played as a goalkeeper in field hockey, and was invited to play in India in a 4-Nations tournament in the U21 New Zealand women's hockey team.
After graduating, she was invited to train with the women's Blacksticks squad in Auckland, as part of the New Zealand Development squad. She was training and playing up to 20 hours of hockey per week on top of working full time as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in private practices in Auckland.
Liz then went to travel the world, basing herself in England working as an Outpatients musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
Liz has a keen interest in all musculoskeletal conditions, and also using Dry Needling therapy.
You may see Liz now outside pounding the pavements as she trains for marathon events. This allows her to combine her love of travel with these events, with a long term goal of completing a marathon in the USA.
